![]() ![]() Is there anything that will give a similar experience with Nova 7? Is the approach tesla unread used to get the unread counts available anywhere to make my own thing? The best solution would be Android itself extending the notification dots to let apps say they've got unread content without requiring the actual notification to be there. TeslaUnread worked brilliantly for this because I could swipe a notification away and the notification blob would still give me the unread email count / unread messages count etc so at a glance I could tell if there was something I needed to look at without keeping the notification around. I also have a couple of apps (eg Teams) where there's no notifications but I'll still have things I should look at at some point. You dont need to download a separate app (tesla) for count badges on nova. The way I use my phone is the notification drawer is for new notifications, I like to see what they are and either swipe them away to deal with them later or tap and deal with them now. Ive used Nova Launcher but now Tesla Unread is no more available on. Before reading, yes I know it's defunct and no longer supported with Nova 7, hence this post!
